How to apply ?
Interested ergonomists should apply by filling the detailed application
form in their native language supplied through their national
committee/society.
When ?
The next CREE coucil will be held in June 2007 in Gotenborg, Sweeden. Files have to be received during spring 2007 by national committees in order to assess files. See national committee/society web sites for actual dates .
What are the registration steps ?
1. Collect your forms from your national committee
2. Complete your forms and send it to your national committe
3. Each National committee analyse all candidate forms twice a year (2 months before CREE sessions)
4. Elected forms are analysed at CREE Commissions twice a year (june and november)
5. Candidates are informed of CREE decisions
6. All successful candidates can use the eur erg title
Requirements
All applicants should demonstrate experience in taking full responsibility
for the use and application of ergonomics knowledge and methods in practical
situations over a period of at least two years beyond their main ergonomics
education and training. The minimum academic qualification requirements
are described in the HETPEP document ( HETPEP.pdf ).
Experienced ergonomists that have had their formal education in past years when European education in ergonomics was less developed than it is today, may apply through the ‘Exceptional Clause’. The ‘Exceptional Clause’ requires a formal university level education in an Ergonomics related discipline of at least three years and a professional experience of at least five years with a minimum of 50% of the time devoted to the practice of ergonomics interventions.
